What an absolutely amazing little restaurant. Excellent service and the food blow my mind. The best Indian style dishes I have ever eaten. We had two dishes off the Chaat counter menu, Pani puri and Ragda pattice. It was honestly like eating Michelin star Indian food. The Pani puri are small little round hollow puffs that you make a hole in and stuff them your self and then pour an amazing tamarind water inside and then eat the whole thing. Just an explosion of flavour. The Goat Thali was sensational and also the prawn malai curry packed so much flavour. We will be going back and back to try everything off the menu. If you like Indian style food you absolutely have to visit this restaurant. A cut above the rest.
This place was recommended by a work colleague. He wasn't wrong. Very different to most Indian restaurants. Full of flavour. Interesting ideas. Spotlessly clean with an excellent hygiene rating. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant Lovely people running it too.
Have been here 4 times already. The food is amazing! Come here if you want proper traditional Indian food. Well balanced flavours and different spices that all work together really well. So much better than the dishes served in most other British Indian restaurants that all tend to serve the same. Working my way through the menu so will be back to try more. Saurav is an artist!
Quite possibly the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Food was perfectly seasoned, creative, and very clearly made with care. Spices were toasted in house. Chef recreated authentic street food dishes and presented them with a modern eye. Truly a hidden gem worth experiencing.
Just got back from a fabulous meal at Saurav Ki Rasoi on cheriton high street. Bloomin’ brilliant red wine, they made me an absolutely divine vegan thali, mum loved the goat curry, Dad adored the chicken curry.... Superb food, looking forward to going back.
